This Photo Gallery Blog is dedicated to the Barakis Matriarch, Mama Hagosa Woldegiorgis, as she celebrated her one-hundred-one-years birthday on February 1, 2014, as well as to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren found in different continents: Africa, America, Asia, and Europe.

As The Barakis we feel blessed to have our Matriarch living in Ethiopia in a fair health condition and in excellent memory at this old-age. We are proud to share her gracious and majestic face with the rest of the world. This blog site serves for all her extended members of her family found in Diaspora in various parts of the globe to know each others and remain tied to each others despite geographic distances and linguistic hindrances and cultural differences of the countries they reside in.
